Registry Information
Hello Family and Friends,
Just wanted to let you know that we have made our registration arrangements. There are three options:
1. Partners In Health is an amazing organization that provides healthcare for the poor worldwide. One of their major projects is in Haiti, and in light of the recent devastation that country has suffered we are asking our guests to consider making a donation in our honor. This would be a great way to help us celebrate our wedding. We made it really easy for you. All you have to do is go to this page.
2. The second option is our Universal Registry on Amazon.com. This page includes awesome handmade and vintage items, as well as neato stuff from stores that don't have formal registries. You can access it here.
3. We are also registered at Target in case you don't shop online. My mom and I totally bonded over that scanning gun. You can access the registry at any Target store, or you can view and purchase from it here.

O-fficial Engagement Portrait, I Suppose!
Eh? Eh? Not too shabby! I call this the official engagement portrait, because my mom recently told me that the ONE thing she and my dad want for Christmas is a picture of Joe and me. For some crazy reason she didn't want a print of our jb^(2) equation. Yesterday we took advantage of what will most likely be the last nice day in St. Louis and went to Tower Grove Park, very near The Music Stand for our picture. Yea!

Ceremony Location: The Music Stand at Tower Grove Park
Um, can we pull this wedding together in the next week? Because the fall colors in Tower Grove Park right now are AMAZING. The Music Stand in Tower Grove Park was built in 1872 and consists of an awesome gazebo surrounded by the busts of Henry Shaw's favorite composers. Concerts were performed here every Sunday in the late 1800's. I think this place is so neat, and Joe and I are so excited to get married here. For a map of the park click here. THE (jb)^2
jb x jb = (jb)^2 = Joe Balmer and Julie Birkemeier are getting married! Save the date for Saturday May 8, 2010 at The Music Stand in Tower Grove Park. An appetizer buffet, anti-dj, non- garter and bouquet toss celebration at Sandrina's will immediately follow--none of that waiting around for four hours in between ceremony and party drivel.
This is your guide to all things Birkemeier-Balmer wedding. Refer to it for details so we don't have to spend gobs of money printing maps and bulldozing trees--we and the families of squirrels appreciate your cooperation.
